How to cure constipation easily

Constipation is a condition of the digestive system. This condition takes place when the colon absorbs too much of the water from the food that presents in the colon. It can also be said that if the muscles in the colon are contracting slowly or poorly then constipation may be occurred. Actually the main point is that the slower the food moves through the digestive tract, the more water the colon will absorb from food. The patient of constipation always produces hard and dry stools. We should remember that having less than two bowel movement a week is a distinct sign of constipation.In simple way it can be said that constipation is a condition when someone faces too much difficulty or uneasiness while passing stools.

It has also been seen that the number of bowel movements generally decreases with age. According to a survey 95% of adults have bowel movements between 3 and 21 times per week, and this is considered as normal. It is also important to mention here that the most common pattern is one bowel movement a day, but this pattern is seen in less than 50% of people. A lot of people believe that if they do not have a bowel movement every day they are constipated, but  we should keep in mind that daily bowel movements are not normal for everyone.

Inactive lifestyle with lack of exercise and poor diet are main reasons of constipation. It should also be kept in mind that the people who are fond of eating food with low fiber content are at higher risk of being constipated.

If someone has constipation he or she must drink more water and eat more fiber in diet. Do you know that water is the body’s lubrication and fiber acts as a softener plus bulking agent in your stool? Adjusting your intake of both can greatly improve your bowel movements.

Adding a proper exercise in your schedule is also necessary for a strong digestive system. Your doctor may also advise you to cleanse the colon.

A colon cleanse is one of the most important things that can be done to improve your overall health immediately. Since 70% of the body’s immune system works out of the colon, so   colon cleanses is very useful for a better health.
